1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our Website, scheduling a service appointment, or accepting a diagnostic assessment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all policies incorporated herein by reference, including our Privacy Policy and Warranty Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Service Scope and Commitment
Independent Service Provider Status: AJ Appliance Service World is an independent third-party service and repair center. We are not an authorized service center, representative, agent, or affiliate of any appliance manufacturer unless expressly stated otherwise in writing for a specific job.
Manufacturer Warranty: You acknowledge that our service and the use of non-original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts (if used) may void your original manufacturer’s warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the status of their manufacturer warranty before scheduling service with us.
Services Provided: AJ Appliance Service World provides home appliance diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for residential customers at the service address provided by the customer.
Service Authorization: By scheduling an appointment, you authorize our technician to diagnose and/or repair the appliance specified in your service request.
Diagnostic Fee: A non-refundable Diagnostic Fee will be charged for the technician’s trip and time spent diagnosing the appliance issue, regardless of whether a repair is performed. This fee is separate from the final repair cost.
Estimate: After diagnosis, the technician will provide an estimate for the full repair cost, including parts and labor. The repair will only proceed upon the customer’s explicit verbal or written approval of this estimate.
3. Pricing, Payments, and Cancellations
Payment Due: Payment for the service (including the Diagnostic Fee, parts, and labor) is due in full immediately upon completion of the repair or service visit.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept [Cash, Visa, MasterCard, UPI].
Late Payment: If payment is not received upon service completion, we reserve the right to apply late payment fees as allowed by law and may initiate collection proceedings.
Cancellations and Rescheduling: Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to the Diagnostic Fee.
4. Warranty and Guarantee
Labor Warranty: We provide a 90 day warranty on the specific labor performed. If the same failure occurs within this period, we will re-diagnose the issue at no labor charge.
Parts Warranty: All new parts installed are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty (typically 30 to 90 days or one year). We do not provide an additional warranty on parts beyond what the manufacturer offers. Please refer to our separate Warranty Policy for full details.
Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover new, separate failures, issues caused by customer misuse, power surges, or pre-existing conditions unrelated to the original repair. No warranty is provided for intermittent problems that cannot be replicated by our technician.
5. Liability and Damage Waivers
By allowing our technician to commence work, you acknowledge and agree to the following limitations on liability:
Appliance Movement: You understand that there are inherent risks when moving large appliances (refrigerators, washers, etc.) to access service areas. You agree to hold harmless AJ Appliance Service World and its technicians from liability for incidental damage to flooring, cabinetry, counter-tops, or the appliance itself that is necessary for access or occurs during the normal course of moving the unit.
Water and Gas Risks: When servicing appliances connected to the building’s plumbing or gas lines, you acknowledge the inherent risk of leakage or flooding. Except in cases of gross negligence proven in writing, you agree to hold harmless AJ Appliance Service World from any liability for water, gas, or property damage resulting from appliance malfunction or connection issues.
Total Liability Limit: In the event of a proven error, our maximum liability for any damage is strictly limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service and parts provided.
6. Website Use and Intellectual Property
Website Content Ownership: All content on this Website, including text, logos, service descriptions, and images, is the exclusive property of AJ Appliance Service World and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Prohibited Use: You may not use the Website for any unlawful purpose, including posting malicious content, attempting to interfere with the site’s operation, or impersonating a technician or company employee.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tamilnadu, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Disputes: Any claim or dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Salem, or in small claims court, as applicable.
8. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our Website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Website or scheduling of services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
